Kimberly Singleton is the Executive Producer and Host of “Consider It Blacklit”, a weekly television show that reviews movies, television programs and plays featuring African Americans up front and behind the scenes. She is also a filmmaker, writer and poet. She has written, produced and directed short films of various genres screened at film festivals around the country. Ms. Singleton’s short film “C-Lo: In the Beginning” was featured at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Her screenplay “Conscious”, about a young poet living with HIV, was selected as a finalist in the BET Rap-It-Up short screenplay competition. Ms. Singleton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Howard University and a Masters of Business Administration from New York University. She currently works as the Director of Finance for a major television network.
