I am a Senior M&A Advisor in Austin affiliated with Covington Associates, a specialty Boston and NYC-based investment bank which works extensively in the global healthcare industry. I focus on M&A advisory services with a primary focus on healthcare information technology and HIT services companies. I have sourced, won, led, and completed more than 50 U.S. and international buy/sell-side and corporate finance transactions ranging in size from $5M to $450M with total enterprise value in excess of $2B. My background includes: healthcare information technology and healthcare services practices head at Covington and for a Chicago-based healthcare-focused investment bank; founder of a boutique M&A and corporate finance investment bank (TechCap Advisors); senior banker in the technology M&A and corporate finance groups of Banc of America Securities; corporate business development at IBM (IBM's internal M&A group); founding member of IBM’s internal venture capital group; senior operational management responsibilities with a NYSE-listed financial services firm; and, practicing attorney.
