Daniel has worked with Grammy winning artists, producers, songwriters, and engineers. He has enjoyed collaborating with artists ranging from members of Beyonce’s band, to the Metropolitan Opera, to Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network). Currently a producer and scoring engineer at the John Williams and Steven Spielberg Scoring Stages, he has contributed to music and sound for over seventy films (Sundance, Cannes, LA Film Fest), television (Netflix, Hulu, PBS) and video games (Star Trek Holodeck). Recently, Daniel recorded the score for Chef's Table on Netflix, at Blanck Records - nominated for an Emmy (Original Dramatic Score). He can also be seen producing and engineering sessions at the legendary EastWest Studios. Daniel's music and recordings have won multiple Downbeat awards, film festivals (Sundance, Cannes, LA Film Fest), and student Emmys. As a graduate of the University of Southern California - Thornton School of Music, Daniel is fortunate to have been mentored by renowned music industry figures including producers and major record label executives. With a primary instrument of guitar, Daniel composes and produces bands and artists (The Voice, American Idol). Daniel founded Blanck Records on Hollywood Blvd in 2013. He is a member of The Recording Academy and Motion Picture Sound Editors. Originally from Syracuse, New York, he enjoys playing golf, watching movies, and spending time with his dog, Harry.
