Claire Raper is a theatrical director and teacher with over 20 years experience. In her professional career, Claire has worked with companies such as the Alliance Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare Festival, Partial Comfort Productions and Ma-Yi before forming her own company in Woodstock, NY, Oven Bird Productions. Her specialty in educational situations is to develop individualized programs suited to meet the needs of the group. She has worked with groups such as the YMCA in Atlanta, multiple after school programs in Brooklyn, the Woodland Playhouse in Phonecia and most recently the Woodstock Day School. She has taught students ranging in age from 5-18. Claire earned a B.A. from Marlboro College and is currently based in the Hudson Valley.
