Ali Castro was born and raised in South Florida and has been dancing since the age of three, and is well trained in a variety of styles. She trained under Jan Hanniford-Goetz and Jeff Satinoff at Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida and was a company member of Performance Edge 2 School of Dance. She has had the privilege of working with renowned choreographers and dancers from all over the country, performing repertoire set by Christopher Huggins, Troy Powell, Rick McCullough, Margo Sappington, Solomon Dumas, Davis Robertson, and Max Stone. She has attended summer programs such as Joffrey Jazz and Contemporary, Alonzo Kings LINES Ballet, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. She currently is a student at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU as a dance major. Ali has danced with Billy Bells Lunge Dance Collective since its inception in 2010, and is very grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an innovative vision.
